Hyundai builds some of the world’s safest and most reliable cars. Hyundai vehicles are usually considerably less expensive than comparable models from their competitors. This low price point has given them a brand image of being “cheap” or low quality, when in fact they make great cars with some of the most competitive warranties on the market.
Hyundai is the world’s fourth largest car manufacturer and operates the world’s largest manufacturing facility. Hyundai is able to offer competitive prices because of their ownership and affiliation with complimentary companies in steel production, tool and equipment production, machine parts manufacturing, and support services.
In the US, Hyundai is best known for the Hyundai Sonata (a mid-size car), Hyundai Elantra (stylish compact) and the Hyundai Accent (an economical sub-compact). Hyundai also produces several other Hyundai models in the US, including Elantra Touring, Hyundai Azera, Sonata Hybrid, Hyundai Tucson, Hyundai Santa Fe, Hyundai Veracruz, Hyundai Genesis, Genesis Coupe, and Hyundai Equus. In Summer 2011 they’ll be releasing a new, sporty model: Hyundai Veloster.
